Lily is a Senior Editor on the Special Projects team at Business Insider, where she leads editorial-sponsored projects and large-scale newsroom initiatives. With over four years at BI, she has managed 50+ programs, driving more than $6.2 million in revenue.

She works with the company’s editorial, business, and product divisions to create, edit, and project manage complex multimedia packages for the newsroom and sponsor partners. Her projects cover topics such as AI, tech and innovation, small business, sustainability, finance, travel, among others.

Lily is the main project editor of Climate Action 30, which highlights 30 global leaders working toward climate solutions. The project, in its fourth year, features activists, influencers, academics, scientists, business executives, entrepreneurs, and public-sector and nonprofit leaders working to address the climate crisis through collectivism and accountability.

She also oversaw Business Insider's One Planet initiative, coined the optimist's destination for climate action. She worked with over 55 newsroom stakeholders to assign, manage, and execute key sustainability projects — ranging from climate justice and breakthrough technologies to sustainable travel, large-scale finance transitions, and leaders who are innovating in their fields. 

Lily was formerly a marketing associate at Manifold Group — an advisory practice, venture incubation studio, and seed-stage VC fund. There, she specialized in content creation, SEO, and marketing strategy for range of start-up clients.

The Los Angeles-based journalist has written for Smithsonian Magazine and graduated from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. She has a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications.

Lily’s a former member of Northwestern's Division I Field Hockey program, where the team made two NCAA appearances and one Elite Eight run over her four years.
