Lily is a Senior Editor on the Special Projects team at Business Insider, where she oversees editorial-sponsored campaigns and large-scale newsroom initiatives. Since 2021, she’s managed 60+ editorial programs, driving more than $7.2 million in revenue.

Lily works with Business Insider’s editorial, sales/marketing, and product divisions to create, edit, and project manage complex multimedia packages for the newsroom and sponsor partners. Her projects cover a range of topics, including AI, food, technology, innovation, the workforce, small business, sustainability, finance, and travel, among others.

Between 2022 to 2024, Lily was the main project editor of Climate Action 30, which highlighted 30 global leaders working toward climate solutions. The project featured original reporting, photography, and web production.

In 2023, Lily also oversaw Business Insider's One Planet initiative, coined the optimist's destination for climate action. The program was BI’s largest climate initiative to date, and one of the largest cross-newsroom projects in BI’s history. She brought together 55+ newsroom stakeholders and assigned, managed, and executed 10+ major sustainability projects — ranging from climate justice and breakthrough technologies to sustainable travel, large-scale finance transitions, and leaders who are innovating in their fields. 

In 2022, she project-managed and produced Business Insider's award-winning project, “Warehouse Nation,” which received the newsroom's first-ever SABEW Best in Business Award.

Lily was formerly a marketing associate at Manifold Group — an advisory practice, venture incubation studio, and seed-stage VC fund. There, she specialized in content creation, SEO, and marketing strategy for a range of startup clients (food & bev, healthcare, etc.)

The Los Angeles-based journalist has written for Smithsonian Magazine and graduated from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. She has a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications.

Lily’s a former member of Northwestern's Division I Field Hockey program, where the team made two NCAA appearances and one Elite Eight run over her four years.
